Tidings of Hope for the Holidays Support Group
The Holidays Can Feel Heavy During a Faith Transition
If you’re spending time with family and friends who still believe the way you used to, it can feel isolating.
You might feel frustrated by their attempts to “fix” you or sad that they don’t understand where you’re coming from.
And navigating the holidays without the same sense of certainty you once had? That’s hard, too.
You don’t have to carry that weight alone.
This December, I’m hosting a small, supportive group for women navigating faith transitions during the holidays. It’s a safe, judgment-free space where you can:
- Share honestly about your experiences, frustrations, and questions
- Be heard and supported without judgment or advice you didn’t ask for
- Connect with others who get it
The universal message of the Christmas story is this: in the darkest time, the world begins again.
Even if Jesus isn’t your reason for the season right now—or maybe won’t ever be again—there’s still room for hope. Let’s practice holding space for the hard feelings and sitting in the darkness together.
Here’s what’s included:
- A Zoom call to meet and share introductions (Dec 6 or 7, based on group availability)
- A private Marco Polo group for ongoing connection and support through the end of the year
- Optional opportunities to gather on additional Zoom calls if the group desires
- A complimentary copy of the Holiday Calm Kit.
I’ll also be available to respond to your Marco Polo messages within 24 hours, providing encouragement, validation, and (if requested) resources or stories from my own journey through deconstruction and reconstruction.
The Details:
- This group is limited to 8 women.
- It’s offered at a sliding scale from $20-50, and free for paid newsletter subscribers (email me if you're a paid sub and interested in joining!)
- Registration closes Wednesday, Dec 4.
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this season in silence. Let’s honor both the hard feelings and the hope that still exists—even in the darkest times.
