New Moon Guided Meditation
I had heard the term “cycle syncing” a lot over my years working in the wellness industry, but in April 2021 finally decided to check it out more deeply. The book I read focused a lot on nutrition, but I found myself more drawn to the idea of my natural waxing and waning of energy throughout the month. It felt revolutionary to have the permission to be lower energy at times, that my body was functioning as designed.
Once I got sucked into the biological/science-y side of things, I started to explore the spiritual side of this idea, as well. This is what got me interested in following the moon cycle. I love that the moon is a visual reminder of permission to show up differently every day. As someone who tends to push and push myself, it's a huge relief.
