God's Not Mad At You Guided Meditation
Imagine how it feels to be surrounded by God's love and allow the truth of God's unconditional love to sink deeply in during this meditation.
Whether we realize it or not, many of us carry around a lot of shame. For me, shame can often manifest in my body as a fear of making a mistake, or a childish feeling of being “caught” or “I’m in trouble” if I do make a mistake.
I think some of that can be traced back to beliefs I had about God and about myself and the ways in which I felt incentivized to hide parts of myself that didn’t seem acceptable. In this meditation I invite you to consider the idea that God is not mad at you and see what it brings up for you in your body, emotions, and thoughts. Get curious about how you react–mind, body, soul–to the statement that God is not mad at you, find yourself in a safe inner sanctuary to imagine how it feels to be surrounded by God's love, and repeat some affirmations to allow the truth of God's unconditional love to sink deeply in during this meditation.
